Some important issues to tackle on this episode.

We will talk housing policy and how we can go about trying to fix Canada’s broken housing market. For a growing number of Canadians, home ownership has become increasingly out of reach. What’s it going to take to turn things around or at least bring some sanity back to the housing market? We’ll hear from economist Mike Moffatt, who is founding director of the University of Ottawa's Missing Middle Initiative. He’s been at the forefront of this national conversation.

We’ll also talk taxes, with Franco Terrazano, federal director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation. He is also author of the book “Axing the Tax: The Rise and Fall of Canada's Carbon Tax”, out now from Sutherland House books. We’ll discuss the demise of the carbon tax (as well as Trudeau’s capital gains tax changes) and Mark Carney’s proposed middle class tax cut, among other issues.

Plus, Alberta's measles outbreak shows no signs of abating, with total cases now at levels we’ve not seen since the 1980s. How did things get so bad and what can be done to turn this around? Also, why is measles so worrisome? We’ll have some insight from infectious disease specialist Dr. Mark Joffe, who also previously served as Alberta's Chief Medical Officer of Health.
